Homemade Ramen Bowl



Ingredients



ــ *For the broth



– 1.5 liters of chicken or vegetable broth



– 3 tbsp soy sauce



– 1 tbsp miso (optional, for more flavor)



– 2 garlic cloves, minced



– 1 piece of ginger (2 cm), grated



– 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp sesame oil



– *For the noodles and toppings



– 300g ramen noodles



– 2 soft-boiled eggs (cooked for 6 minutes and peeled)



– 150g beef brisket, grilled chicken, or tofu for a vegetarian version



– 1 carrot, grated or julienned



– 1 handful baby spinach or bok choy



– 2 green onions, finely chopped



– Toasted sesame seeds



– Chili flakes or chili oil (optional)



Instructions



1️⃣

*Prepare the broth


In a large saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the broth, soy sauce, and miso (if using). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

*Cook the Noodles


Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.

*Prepare the Toppings


Grill or heat the meat or tofu according to your preference. Prepare the soft-boiled eggs and cut them in half. Also prepare the raw or lightly cooked vegetables according to your preference.

*Assemble the Bowls


Divide the noodles into bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles, then arrange the toppings: meat or tofu, eggs, vegetables, and green onions.

*Finish and serve


Sprinkle with sesame seeds and add chili or chili oil if you like it spicy. Serve immediately and enjoy hot.
